spring anime 2021 im looking out for
hi friends.
so i'm gonna make a list of the upcoming spring anime season and what i'm excited for.
ongoing anime i'm watching
-one piece... i'm really liking the Wano arc and i think it has a lot more potential we're about to see.
-so i'm a spider, so what?...i think that this show is gonna get really good and i'm really excited knowing that in the last episode it showed her getting out of the labyrinth at the end. i was hoping she would somehow be able to evolve into human form but at this point i dont think it's possible.
-fruits basket...a genuine classic, how could i not?
-kaguya-sama love is war OVA...def going to keep on my radar.
-bottom tier character tomozaki OVA...i'm not sure how many people are actually watching this series but it really is relatable and funny, while also going in depth with psychological factors in becoming "normal".
-slime diaries...a continuation of the slime series but more of just the daily activities in Tempest, since we had so much world building previously i think it's going to be a light and relaxing spinoff.
new anime i'm going to watch
-combatants will be dispatched...you know i love a good demon lord anime. here's the details of the show:
"With world domination close at hand, the Kisaragi Corporation turns its sights on interstellar conquest, and who better to take over a magical world than two randomly assigned minions—Combatant Agent Six and his android partner Alice? But Six’s path up the evil corporate ladder won’t be easy—a Demon Lord’s army is hatching its own nefarious plan!"
hopefully it won't be as cheesy as the bio is kinda making it seem, but i always look out for demon lord shows just bc i love magic and action.
-i've been killing slimes for 300 years and maxed out my level...another magic anime that i'm obvs gonna look out for. i'm guessing it'll be like that time i got reincarnated as a slime but more cutesy and laid back, which is always a good watch. here's the bio:
"After dying of overwork in the real world, I’m reincarnated as an immortal witch, and I spend 300 years enjoying a relaxing life...Rumors of the level 99 witch spread, and soon I’m up to my ears in curious adventurers, duelist dragons, and even a monster girl calling me her mom!"
-tokyo revengers...looks pretty original in concept to me, at least the part where it involves a gang murder and reverting back to 12 years ago. a little bit of the bio:
"Takemichi Hanagaki is a freelancer that's reached the absolute pits of despair in his life. He finds out that the only girlfriend he ever had in his life that he dated in middle school, Hinata Tachibana, had been killed by the ruthless Tokyo Manji Gang. The day after hearing about her death, he's standing on the station platform and ends up being pushed over onto the tracks by a herd of people. He closes his eyes thinking he's about to die, but when he opens his eyes back up, he somehow had gone back in time 12 years. Now that he's back living the best days of his life, Takemichi decides to get revenge on his life by saving his girlfriend and changing himself that he'd been running away from."
-full dive...i'm expecting this to be a comedy but also intense, and i always love a good isekai/"i got stuck in a video game" show. here's part of the bio:
"The story follows a dull high school student named Hiro Yuuki when he is tricked into joining a fully immersive VR role-playing game...the game is already a virtual ghost town, after being flooded with player complaints that the game is little too realistic for its own good. Its quests are nearly impossible to clear, since players have to be as physical fit to complete them as they would in real life. Players feel actual pain when they get hit, and puncture wounds takes days to heal."
I'll continue this later, but this is what i've got so far. i'm trying to include biographies so u guys know what to expect, and honestly just so i remember LOL
